DockerException: Error while fetching server API version

Hi, I am following the getting started example using docker. On windows (10 x64), I created a folder in ‘Documents’ and added the docker-compose.yml file.

When I run docker-compose up -d (as an administrator), I get an error:

C:\Users\stephen.smith\Documents\Docker Images\Kafka>docker-compose up -d

During the handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

Unfortunately, I know as much about docker as I do about brain surgery. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks, Stephen
