Period Retention of state store for table windowed

Hi, I would like to ask about the relationship between window retention and state store of table.
In case, CREATE TABLE … WINDOW TUMBLING (SIZE 10 SECONDS, RETENTION 2 DAYS)

What’s the impact of RETENTION 2 DAYS ?

  1. Does that mean the state of computed windowed will be retained on local state store only 2 DAYs?
  2. Does that mean the state of computed windowed will retain on changes log topic only 2 DAYs?
  3. Or both?
