Hello, I’m trying to set advertised listeners Kafka Listeners – Explained | Confluent in my helm chart similar to cp-helm-charts/values.yaml at 524608ded7c8aecf2540933c267e990e3c917f04 · confluentinc/cp-helm-charts · GitHub.
I’m setting the value to try to enable a local access to a k8s cluster running on my laptop to expidite development. I don’t see the configuration being applied. Has this been configuration been removed or changed for recent versions of kafka? I’m setting the value like below but don’t seem to see the advertised address when I connect to the brokers using kcat.
advertised.listeners:
- EXTERNAL://localhost:$((31090 + ${KAFKA_BROKER_ID}))
Rather I’m seeing
kcat -b localhost:31090 -t opensky-input
