just out of curiosity, have anyone ever considered (or using) WORM drives (write ones read many) on confluent either onprem or in the cloud. If we need to guaranie no tampering of data and infinite retention ? Idially it shoud be used for spesific topics only (topics thought as needed for archive)
Usecase is when the organization is requred to archive the data (events) and deliver the archive to a 3 party organization for research/history and/or gouvernance. Technically one stupid person can delete a topic and thus break the archive “rules” of the gouverment/indutry
