Confluent Documentation has a public mirror git repo?

Is there some public git repo hosting “https://docs.confluent.io/”?

No there isn’t. Do you have some feedback or contribution you’d like to make?

Hi @rmoff !!

So far, nothing concretely, I will notify as soon as I get that I can contribute.

Just MUCH easier for me, to use a public facing copy in a repo, in which you can get benefits such as

  • easier to follow the adjustments made, between versions
  • get some idea, based on commits, about the reason of the adjustments or news
  • easier to navigate / search through the documentation – simple “ctrl+f” –
  • skip distractions of icons / banners / dozens of links / … typically found in a website, than just having a simple raw “.md” / “.adoc” / “.mdx” …, with the content itself
  • more straigh way to report questions / suggest ideas by the consumer of the documentation itself

Maybe, some of them, are pretty subjective, but those are my thoughs

:+1: Thanks for sharing @dancer1325

For this one:

In case you haven’t seen, there’s a feedback button at the bottom of every page where you can suggest ideas:
