I am using a Neo4j sink connector in self managed cluster. I was just going through the neo4j kafka connector page and wanted to know , don’t we need a consumer group in order to start consuming from the topic ? If so why do I see it has not been specified , nor a mandatory property.
Connectors use default property settings if they aren’t provided within the connector configuration itself. These defaults are taken from whatever is specified for the connect workers or Kafka Connect defaults.
