I’m preparing the upgrade from Confluent 6.1.1 to 6.2 (Upgrade Confluent Platform with Ansible Playbooks | Confluent Documentation) and I was wondering if this step was correct:
Shouldn’t it be 2.8 for both properties?

as the documentation states at step 4, section 2:
For other versions, review the Kafka upgrade documentation.
imho should be fine to set inter.broker.protocol.version and log.message.format.version to 2.8
