Black Screen Issue in Confluent Control Center – UI Not Loading

Hi Everyone,

I recently installed Confluent Platform and started Confluent Control Center to monitor my Kafka clusters, but when I open the UI in my browser, all I see is a black screen with no content.

Everything else seems to be running fine Kafka brokers, Schema Registry, and ksqlDB are all up and responsive. I have tried accessing it from different browsers Chrome and Firefox and even cleared the cache, but the issue persists.

I also restarted the Control Center using confluent local services restart control-center, but there’s no change. I checked the browser console for errors, but nothing stands out.

Could this be a configuration issue, a missing dependency, or something else? Has anyone encountered a similar problem, and what steps did you take to resolve it?

did you check the logs for controlcenter?
