Surfing the web seems it is possible to write Kafka connectors only with JVM enabled languages. KNet project is trying to overcome this limitation and open Kafka Connect to .NET.
This link (V1.3.1: KNet Connect SDK · Discussion #75 · masesgroup/KNet · GitHub) points to the first public version of KNet Connect SDK: it is an SDK, integrated within KNet, to build Apache Kafka connectors using .NET languages.
